David and Noga met in 2010 at a jam session in Berlin in a Palestinian bar. Since that moment they never stopped jamming, experimenting, collaborating with different artists and creating new music. In their music they mix influences from both of their origins (the Middle East and Caribbean) with other music we love such as African music, Brazilian, Jazz and more...The result is music that crosses borders and cultures and carries a strong message of cultural celebration! Their live shows often feature guests such as Rachel Hayter on flute, Nicki Maher on clarinet and our Belly dancer Ossi Ritter.
David X one of the most unique talents from France, is a “one-man band”. He has practised beat-boxing for 20 years and mastered all of the possibilities offered by the voice. He imitates talking drums, congas, darbuka, tabla, brass, bass and the list is still long! David also builds his own instruments; with his endless imagination he builds electro-acoustic prototypes which are a mix of guitar, violin and percussion. The magic appears when David blends his vocal mastery whilst simultaneously playing the violin, guitar, loop station and dancing!
